Easy Start vs Soft start

can anyone suggest one of these units over the other? I want to add a unit to my Cool Cat so we can more eadily run it with a generator but don’t really know anything about either unit.

    The Easy Start by Micro-Air is a soft start device. I don't think Micro-Air is the only one making a soft start product but I do think they were first. They are certainly more popular. 

    Your traditional capacitator start is what they call a "hard start" system. 

    I installed a Micro-Air in a Coleman Mach 8 13.5k rooftop AC and was able to run it from a 2000w generator.
