2021 Tab 400 Jack-It bike rack installation

Getting ready for the summer and had to come up with a better way to haul bikes (since we are taking kayaks also). I purchased the Jack-it from Amazon and was going to use the washer method as spacers. Then I had another wild idea; modify the base plate. I only need to cut/grind/file a portion from the front and drill two half inch holes in the back portion. I also had to get 6inch class 5 bolts for the back as the originals weren’t long enough. The rack sits flush on the tongue with no spacer requirement.
