It seems like we were always looking for a place to hang things like a dishtowel, wet swimsuit, wet towel, trash bag, recycling bag, etc. We hung things on the rear rack for a while but it was often dirty from road grime, plus the things hung against the trailer. Sometimes we strung paracord between trees, but they're not always available. We ended up getting two aluminum clothes hangers that swing out and we mounted these on the Boondock rack with brackets that my son printed on his 3-D printer.
For short stays we often just swing the brackets out and hang a trash bag and recycling bag from the brackets. For longer stays we have a multi-piece curtain rod that we assemble and place on the brackets and bungee it in place. You can even use the holes to hang clothes hangers on. We're very happy with this setup. It's quick and easy, secure when underway, and takes up very little space.
In the last photo you can see the clothesline in action, the Moonshade, which we love, and the draft horse feed bucket that use to support the Gazelle bug shelter when mounted on the Yakima rack.
