Well I think I nearly ran it dead before I plugged it into house power yesterday. I'll confirm that I have the correct LED lights displaying.

Would you be kind enough to post the latest wiring schematics/diagrams for Tab 400. I can't find the thread in which you had shared it before.

Thanks. I'm working on a more traditional wiring diagram for my 2024. I used your documents to jumpstart it. I'd like to include the lighting as well, as well as make any corrections when I inspect all the wiring for myself.Let me know what you think.2024 T@b 400 Boondock | 2024 Honda Ridgeline | Dallas, TX

@kk1L does it matter which direction the "shunt" resistor is installed? I see the grnd & sw pins you mention.I'm upgrading my converter and according to WFCO, the 8735-AD- MBA assembly I purchased on Amazon is a "knock off," so I'm on my own. In other words, they won't send me a jumper if I need one and wanted me to buy a complete new unit from them. I'd say in this case saving about $100 on this part is worth trying it since Amazon assures a refund if need be and I have this wonderful group of T@bbers here for assistance.

Take a look at the Progressive Dynamics PD4655V. I believe it comes set for lithium, and it will fit in the compartment for the WFCO 8955 converter the same way your aftermarket product does.2021 400 BD / 2016 VW Touareg / Austin, TX

My WFCO 8735 AD has performed like a champ since the update and jumper installation. It charges and maintains two 100 AH LFP batteries with no performance problems or glitches. It is wired in parallel with two Victron solar controllers and a Victron DC/DC charger with no additional switches or or user involvement required.
The WFCO 8725 in my 2009 T@B was trouble free for 10+ years.
If you can handle the shunt installation yourself, it may be an easier and cheaper solution than an added charger.
IMO - I like that the system and all its components are working as intended.

@rfuss928 do you know if the resistor for the jumper has polarity? In other words, does it matter which direction i would solder it since I'd be creating a shunt vs getting the little connector jumper from WFCO for my upgrade.
Do you have any pics of your whole upgrade? I'd love to see how you connected everything & where your 2 batteries are located as I'd like to add a second battery too.2018 T@B 320S / 2024 Chevy Blazer RS AWD / Phoenix, AZ -

The factory update is for the firmware controlling the auto-detect and charging functions. They will also add the jumper locking LFP mode if requested.
On the WFCO 8735AD the circuit board is not accessible without disassembly.
A description of my LFP batteries install is here:

WESDUNCAN said:Thank you so much for sharing this information. I have my resistor and I'm going to try this tonight. I hope it doesn't back fire on me lol, we're camping and I have no plan B if it kills the inverter.
Where did you get your resistor? Is THIS 1/4 watt the right one? or THIS 1/2 watt one? or... there's also a 1 watt, all 3 with the same color bands. I'd hate to have to buy 100 of each for one resistor, but... 😆

I have a WF-8735-AD, and I received the jumper from WFCO.
Found a video on what to open, and where to put the jumper.

Disconnected the battery, and solar panels, then turned the master battery switch to OFF.
Removed the WFCO face plate, then removed the fan plate...immediately saw where it goes.
Popped it on, attached plates to the WFCO, reconnected solar and the master battery switch.
Boom...what a beautiful blue light!!!

WOW...what an improvement!!! Used to go up to 13.2 or so...now it is at 13.85 and rising!!!
Affected T@B owners should get the jumper sent to them to install...simple and fast.

Moderator - Possibly add WFCO 8735 AD to title as jumpers for both models are discussed in this thread.
