2006 tab trailer - burning smell

Hi there,  Was getting a burning smell (smelled like burning rubber) when using the trailer with the fridge on, and then realized I hadn't heard the Norco fridge fan come on for a while.  Has anyone else had this?  Wondering how much damage I've done to my trailer, and if the whole fridge will need to be replaced or just the fan or fuse?  Thoughts?

Hard to say with so little info. Assuming the fridge is the Norcold 3 way that was commonly used back in the day, if the fan failed it should still work but have diminished cooling especially in warm weather. If the smell came from a leaking cooling unit the fridge needs replacing.

Assuming you just have a bad fan, replacing it is doable, but a little difficult because of the tight area the fan is located in.  You could also have a bad thermostat.  That device is very easy to replace because it is located in the front of all the mechanicals.
