Refrigerator losing consistency

The last few days my 2-way frdige worked great. Awoke this morning and it was 50 deg in there. Cranked it up and it is now at 45 after 4 hours. It's not getting colder now but maintaining the temp. It must be working enough to keep the temp consistent and not continue to warm up, and there is a light sound like it is working but I don't hear it crank on like it does when it kicks in like it's supposed to? Any ideas?

Never mind folks. It turns out I had it too packed with food. I took some out and it worked like a charm.
