Front screen pops off mounting clips = sag + gap

In addition to the corner screws, the front screen top frame assembly seems to be "held on" by 2 clips along the horizontal top.  Problem is, the clips have a short tang and really don't seem to clip into the frame. As a result, the frame center continually pops off the clips and creates a gap for bugs and such. 

Anyone have and solve this problem?
