Hi. I am a new 320 owner and I noticed the Alde temp display is 6 degrees higher than the Air8. I cannot find any reason for the discrepancy via on line searches. I noted you can manage the difference on the Alde by going -6 on the settings. Just wondering the reason why… thermostats should show similar temperature? Appreciate any thoughts based on your experience.

There are a couple of reasons for the differences:
-Locations of temperature sensor. The Alde temperature sensor is located in the Alde control panel while the Air 8 temperature sensor is located by the speaker toward the rear of the TAB (at least in my '21). So they are in different locations.
-One airduct for the Air 8 is really close to the control panel for the Alde (and in a hallow wall), so when the Air 8 is running, I believe it influences the Alde temperature sensor to some degree.
Here are few things that can help;
-There is a temperature offset feature in the Alde menu where you can change the sensor temperature +/- 5 or so degrees. You can use an independant thermometer to check.
-I removed my Alde control panel and stuffed a small amount of insulation in the hallow wall the connects the Air 8 airduct and Alde control panel. I stuffed it around the Alde control panel.
When I did the above, I get them to read within 1-2 degree most of the time.
