Difference in stargazer window shades?

I contacted a dealer for pricing on replacement window shade/bug screen unit for Stargazer back window for 2017 Tab 400.   Response said that newer units are not the same as 2017 so they can't promise it will "fit".     Anyone with a newer model Tab 400 like 2021 or newer that could measure your window shade frame please?   

I have asked the dealer for more clarification on what they mean by "fit" since the unit is just screwed onto the back wall with a screw in each corner & does not mount inside the window.

I think, after they added the Froli system, the window was moved higher to keep it above the mattress. I'm not positive.

My trailer has the Froli system in it.  I'm hoping someone with a newer unit can give me some measurements or idea what may have "changed".  The first response I got from the dealer was a quote for a whole new window, the seal, and "insert"--whatever that means.  So someone did not even read my e-mail because I was very specific about wanting the window shade/bug screen unit.   So we go back and forth until the confusion is cleared up.

I think that 2018 was the first official build year for the 400, although the first actual units were completed in the summer of 2017 and sold in the fall of that year. That is the case with my 2018. Only from on-the-road observation, it seems newer year models have a back window about a foot shorter than the earlier ones. I hope someone gives you the measurement, and the dealer and NuCamp find a way to support the earlier models.

That is good info! Thank you.  Im still waiting on further information from the dealer because Nucamp didn’t read my original email where I requested a window shade unit & got a quote for a whole new window.  Unfortunately from the email received from the dealer who got their information from Nucamp— if you have an older Tab we are SOL because they are giving parts information for newer units on the window not for older years & “will not promise it will fit” my trailer.

 I’m disappointed with Nucamp.  By choosing all of these special & unusual parts like windows & windows shades & Alde unit, that no other manufacturer uses it ensures we can’t find parts later on.  

If the quote comes back with some ridiculous amount of money I will have to come up with some other solution for that window.

@lkc001 , I have a 2024 T@B 400 and will measure the rear stargazer shade/bugscreen unit for you tomorrow. At least you will have the current window dimensions for ordering a new one . Slightly curious how much that will cost .

Just measured our 2024 T@B 400 . The rear stargazer window shade / bug screen measures - Outside to outside measurements of the actual plastic trim is 27.5" wide X 50" tall.
