2022 320. Was on the phone with Dometic (first in line) for an hour, never got a person. Anyway the cover worked for a while, you sort of lift it up and stays in place at a bit of angle. Quit working last year and I had to use  a spork to keep it open. Any ideas how to fix it?

@CCC.  Unfortunately, this has been an ongoing issue with Dometic since, I believe, the 2021 models.  In my opinion, the latching mechanism in the glass top hinges is not nearly robust enough.  My top was broken when I took delivery, so Nucamp provided a replacement.  The replacement broke on my second outing, because a friend tried to close the glass top without first 'lifting upwards'.  I changed it once more recently, but don't have a lot of faith that it will hold up.  I have received no answers from Dometic when I inquired about an upgraded design.
To my knowledge, there is no way to repair the hinges once the small, internal retaining tabs get twisted.  I basically carry a spare 'chip clip' which I attach to the window frame to hold the glass in the upright orientation.  Again, I hope my current top lasts, but all it takes is one person to pull on the glass without lifting it up and it's a gonner!
There are multiple discussions on this forum about this issue.  Maybe someone else has discovered a better approach....

Same issue.  A pair of plastic spring clamps used to hold lid up against cabinetry.

2021 models, esp 320's, had alot of supply chain issues because of the pandemic. Our top doesn't stay open and I did contact Nucamp and Dometic. Our top doesn't open far enough to engage the locking slot. It hits the window frame. Nucamp says it's a Dometic problem, Dometic says the cook top is installed in the wrong place. We have looked at several installs at Ucamps(2022 and 2023), and our cooktop is a different model than virtually every one we compared to. My wife put a command hook on the window frame, works perfectly. Sorry no photo.

That sounds really frustrating! I’ve had a similar issue with a cover before. In my case, checking the hinges helped, and a little WD-40 worked wonders. If it’s still not staying up, maybe try a small prop or clip to hold it in place. Sometimes, a temporary fix like that can make things a lot easier until you can get a better solution.
