Front Window of t@b Hinge Broken

Have others had this problem?
Asking for advice, comments, possible DIY fix.

I have a 2017 320S. The plastic hinge piece on the front window has cracked and doesn't hold the window in securely anymore. I am told I need a whole new window as a replacement plastic piece is not available. Perhaps someone sells a replacement hinge(I've seen the galley hinge sold).

Please review the photos and offer any suggestions or input.

    By the way..I can still prop my window up, but it falls out of the hinge easily.

    Thank you for participating in the discussion and the problems with the plastic hinge piece failing. So, I gather you reached your whole windows and not just the hinge. Is that correct,?

    Yes, there is no fix I'm aware of. I recently purchased two new windows with the new metal hinge design, which I will have installed this Saturday. It's only a matter of time before the window I currently have fail again.

    Has anyone replaced the front window of a 400 themselves?  I ordered a new window assembly (about $600) and I am looking for installation advice or video. 
    John & Michelle & JD (Just Dog) 2019 T@B 400 Boondock LTE  towed by a 2017 Toyota Highlander v6, (flat land only) or a 2017 Tundra v8 (when going west)
