I'm curious. I've seen the photos, but not sure about the new tongue box design. It seems small?
What does everyone think of the new tongue box design for 2025?
Do people prefer having gear all in a box? Or do you like the option of putting whatever gear you want on the previous open metal "shelves"? And what happened to the metal plate in front of the box? Are people going to mod it to put it back?
Interested in hearing how people like the new one or not.

My thoughts so far though:
I'm sure the larger tub with no platform was a cost cutting idea.
I have a second box on my platforms passenger side so I have enough storage. I would miss the platform on the right and in the front as I use it as a step to get up on the box to reach the solar panel to clean it. No ladder necessary. I also use the right side of the platform to strap firewood to when getting near the next campsite. I know some carry a generator on the platform. Don't know yet if one would fit inside the larger tub. My Spare sits on the front platform which takes most of it's weight so I would want to add something on the 360 for the tire to actually sit on. If you stay on the roads you most likely wouldn't need it.
I like the ideal of having easy access to the propane shut off but I have no desire to lock my boxes so that really doesn't matter to me. I moved my lithium batteries inside and they are the only thing of real value that I couldn't easily and cheaply replace. I'm more worried about someone trying to pry open and ruining a very expensive box for nothing of much value inside. Diamond plate is easy to bend and rip with a simple hand tool. I've never had anyone try to steal anything from my campsite or storage boxes camping or at a music fest but then again I live out in the country, not the city or the burbs.
I'll have a better idea after I see one.

We have added diamond plate boxes to either side of the factory box on our 400. We keep chocks, levelling pads, antenna and a few tools in one. All our freshwater stuff like the hose, filter, pressure regulator fits the other one. This leaves room for a 5-gallon bucket holding the dump hose, black tank flush hose, gloves and wipes in the factory bin with the propane tank. None of the bins are full and they are easy to sort through.
I believe we could fit all of that stuff in the new larger bin. It would have saved us quite a bit of money not needing to add bins.
