VIBRATION = - = Death By a Thousands Cuts

Background:
  Have not been TAB camping since May (doing Boat camping for summer, a different adventure{?}) and just did a long weekend TAB trip.
 Three nights dry camping.  On fourth/fifth nights was in a KOA with power/water.

Well at the KOA:
  1]  Window Style [aux] AC Fan would not run.
  2]  Alde would not heat cabin.

AC Fan Troubleshooting:
  After getting home found both the positive and negative wires to the fan had broken-off at the fan PCB.
  Easy fix of course but was oddly surprised the wire/solder joints had failed - - on both wires.

Alde No Cabin Heat.
  At KOA the Control Panel said the circulation pump was 'on' but there was no sound and the passenger bench 'piping' never got warm/hot.
  I was expecting a not so minor Circulation Pump replacement in my future.  {{ had an electric ceramic heater for comfort }}
  However, today at home . . . . Pump is running, the passenger side tubing is hot . . .

Am not looking for an explanation.  Just sharing an experience.
Next week I leave for the Oregon Coast (all camp sites have 120VAC) as my not-Summer-TAB-Camping-Season Resumes.  =)

    I'd pay more for better assembly and components by NuCamp for the vibration effects of towing. That's my continual worry - what wire or leak is going to happen this trip.  Wires fall out of splices or screw down connections, leaks from poor routing of tubes to unions, not crimped or tightened enough or just being plastic. Alde's great except for the lack of protection for corrosion effects on "some" built up units.

    I love the design and overall build quality but come on this is a MOBILE collection of little pieces. Look at a similar use case: cars - rarely do connections break due to vibration.

    Most trailer tires are not balanced. That causes a lot of vibration in the trailer.

    Vibration takes its toll. Same applies with boats and airplanes.

    Absolutely. We recently replaced our tires. I had the new set balanced. I was surprised you could feel the difference whole towing. It must be huge inside the trailer.

    I just tried to balance the Boondock tires on the 2021 T@B I just purchased.  No way!  They would not balance.  I switched to Goodyear Endurance 225 75 R15 tires.  They will be balanced and installed this Saturday.  If anybody wants the 3 yr old Boondock tires, with probably less than a 1,000 miles on them, just let me know.  I'm in Maine.

    Did they try remounting them on a different place on the rim? What were the tires that you had trouble getting to balance?
