Alde problem

Tab 400 BD 2022.  I was in process of selling my Tab.  When I tried to turn on Alde system on battery power, it did not start.  I plugged it in on +1 shore power, it would not start.  I then put on the propane, and it was fine. Why would it not start on full battery or shore power?

Was the shore power actually reaching the trailer?  What exactly were you plugged into?  When you turned on the electric elements, the pump didn't start?
So, check to make sure the circuit you are plugged into has not tripped.  If you tried running the Alde on the "2KW" setting on a 15 amp circuit, you may have tripped the breaker at the place you are plugged into.
And: check the plug for the Alde down in the Alde compartment and make sure the plug is in.  It can vibrate out.
And: there are circuit breakers in the converter box for shore power and the Alde.  Check those, also.

But should it not have started just on battery?

It won't run on just battery.  You need propane or AC power to provide heat, unless you have an inverter that converts battery power to AC power.  This would not be very efficient and the battery would drain quickly.

It worked great on propane.  I also have it plugged with the camper cable to a surge protector to a 15 v outlet box with a 30 to 12 volt cable plugged into 12 v outlet.

Did you try it on battery and propane or did it work with propane while on shorepower only?
