Was looking for a DVD player, settled on a PlayStation 5, so I installed one.
I was looking for a DVD player for my 320s. I know, I know, you might say: “you’re camping, why do you need to watch television?” Well, besides camping I use my 2023 320s Boondock as a “mobile” cabin when I’m traveling cross country to visit friends/family or attending events far from home. Much better than flying and staying in hotels, to me. During my downtime I want to watch some of my dvd collection. I shopped for a DVD player, that can also play BluRays. But, wait a second!! I have a PS5 that does all that and more! With or without internet! Works fine. I installed it in that unused space below the Microwave and can slide it in/out easily when I’m home. I’ve attached a picture of my install.

Does it run on 12 volts?
I added this SONY Blu-ray player under the stereo that runs on 12 volts because we're seldom plugged into anything and don't play video games.

No, it’s AC only but, I have a little 400 watt inverter I plug into the 12v socket below it on the floor. The PS5 only draws 200 watts so I can use it for a while off grid. I have a 200 watt external solar panel to help keep the main battery charged up if I’m not running my generator.2023 T@B 320s Boondock, 2013 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4 2016 Toyota Tundra 1794 4x4

On the road for three months this summer, we'd hit consignment and secondhand shops and pick up old DVD movies and donate our watched ones. Streaming is a better alternative, but when no service is available they're a fun way to relax before crashing for the night.elbolillo said:whats a DVD player? 😂

We try to download programs we’d like to watch ahead of time for those moments when we need to relax before shut eye._____________________________________________________
