Tab 400 interior wall construction & wiring?

I have a 2018 Tab 400 with the full closet instead of the large fridge, which I love.  I am wanting to install some extra shelving either in the bed area on the outside of the "closet" and/or on the outside of the bathroom wall in the dinette area. 

Does anyone know 1)  is the bathroom/cabinet wall constructed of wood
2) know where the wires are run inside the wall of the closet for the stereo unit and the light switches in the bedroom area?   Looking for this info so I stay away from any wiring while I use screws to mount shelving.   Thank you!!

The walls you refer to should just be plywood (Baltic birch I believe). There’s nothing in between you could hit. The wiring for the stereo unit goes behind the false wall in the closet. The wiring for the bedroom lights does as welll. You should be good.

Ok but if I want to put up a shelf in the bedroom area on the closet wall & use screws I dont want to hit any wires so — what length of screws should I keep them under? Don’t know the thickness of the plywood

I would be wary of mounting a shelf on that wall using screws. You’ve only got 1/2” of thickness so not much leverage. You might be ok if you keep the objects on the shelf light. 

You don’t want the screw tip to go completely through the plywood not just because of risk of hitting a wire but also you lose a lot of strength by driving a screw completely through the material vs. having the tip embedded into the material. 

If you do plan on using the shelf for anything substantial (say 5-10lbs) I’d thru-bolt with washers to be safe. But that’s a whole other project in itself.
