Overhead fan

I just went out to check on things and noticed my ceiling fan isn’t working. Any ideas? I checked the fuse it doesn’t seem to be blown. Haven’t used it very much and always careful with it while using it and when towing.

If you are on shore power: is the fan cover open?  The cover has to be open a certain amount for the fan to begin to spin.

If just on battery power: are the lights or other 12V items working?  And, also, the cover needs to be slightly open.

What fuse did you check?  There is one in the converter, which in most of the WFCO diagrams is the first fuse on top of the other fuses: a 10 amp fuse.  If the fuse is blown in the converter, there will be a red light next to the blown fuse.

There is also a fuse on the Fan itself: it is held into the fan housing with the little round "knob" looking thing.  It is a 4 amp fuse, so it might be worth a look at it, too. The other thing that caught me once was the fan cover not being raised sufficiently. There is a switch there as well.

Thanks guys we checked both fuses. I am on shore power and my cover is opened. Just wanted to make sure that there was anyone that had anything else to cause it not to work.

What year is this trailer?  Some of the newer fans have had issues with various "motherboards" and switches in the fans.There are lots of threads about the newer models of Fans that simply had failed circuit boards.
