Home Battery Backup Mode!!

Well, I installed 1200Ah (15.6kW) of lithium batteries that stay plugged in and charged most of the time.  We are now all-electric (no propane).

I thought, why not put all that stored energy to a second use!!!  We live in hurricane country and often without power for a few days after storms.

I added a transfer switch to the output of the (new) inverter so that if I flipped two breakers, the shore power socket outside the T@B becomes an *OUTLET*!!

Made up a special cable and now I can plug it into the house and (with an inside transfer switch) lite-up portions of the house - internet router, TV, lights, and some outlets to even make coffee!  Below is a photo of my "lite-up-the-house" test - worked GREAT!

Impressive effort @boathealer. I like the concept of bidirectional power (we live in hurricane country too). Have you determined the new tongue weight with the changes in the tub?

One of my winter projects was to use an additional 400Ah battery bank to supplement the onboard 200Ah. Well damn! Now I know how this is actually done. Nice job!

Tongue weight went from ~230lbs to ~310lbs.
