I never use my outside porch light because it is way too bright and draws bugs.

Found this film on Amazon for $7.55:

The film is fairly transparent, so you may want to use two or three pieces on top of each other (I used three). Be aware that there is a clear film on top of the colored film as well as a backing on the other glued side. You will need to remove both. A fresh X-Acto knife is a must. Cut a piece of light cardboard to 7/8" x 5 7/8." Use the cardboard as a template to cut a piece to fit - however, leave an extra inch on one of the long sides because it is almost impossible to use the knife to separate the clear film on top or backing on the bottom. Simply "rough up" the end with the extra inch to separate the clear and backing films with the knife. Once both films are removed, start at the "good" end and place over the stock lens. Once on, cut the "bad end" off with the knife. Repeat the process for how many layers you wish.
After almost ten years of use, my "T@B" emblem under the porch light was really faded. It is easily removed with a plastic putty knife. Clean the remaining adhesive with Goof-Off and sand off the old silver paint. Use a very thin double-sided tape (3M 300LSE). Cut the tape into several small pieces and place on the back of the emblem so as not to show once installed.
