Battery connection on T@B 320 Off-road 2009

Hi
can someone please advise on battery connection. I’ve never had a leisure battery as I’ve always used a site with a plug in. I purchased second hand in immaculate condition about 15 years ago. It is still in immaculate condition!!!!! I’m wanting to use the fridge and lights from the battery but I have no idea where to start.

    First: Nice trailer!
Take a picture of the battery you have.  If it is the original?  Might be time to upgrade.
Next: what exact fridge do you have?  A "2 way fridge" that can work off a battery?  Or, a "3 way fridge" that can work with propane, also?  You would need to know which fridge to be able to plan your power needs.

    Hi
Ive never had a battery. It’s a two way fridge which was originally installed in the T@B. Not sure how and where to connect a battery. I will post photos later (tomorrow)if this would help.

Ok....next question: where is this trailer?  There isn't a "front tub" where a battery might be connected?

The ‘trailer’ is a 2009 T@B 320 Off-road. It does have a ‘tub’ which contains two gas cylinders and two wheel chocks. I’m in the UK. Here are some photos of the electrics and the fridge. It is in original unadulterated condition. Please advise where and how I should connect a leisure battery in order that I can run the fridge and internal lights from the batteryI

P.s the top opening is not original! When I first towed it, I left it open and it blew off!!!!!! I learned a lesson!!! Also, I can’t remember what the three red knobs are for? See pic

Here’s a few more pics of the internals and a side view of the electrics box. The tv is well out of date and needs an upgrade!!!!! It’s been many years since we towed!!

As you are probably aware T@bs in Europe are built by Tabbert while the US models are built in the US by NuCamp/Pleasant Valley Teardrop (or Dutchmen very early on). While looking similar they have significant technical differences from power systems to heaters to brakes etc.. Looking at the current offerings from Tabbert, the 320 off-road does not have a 12V battery unless it has the optional 1000 Euro 12V supply package which includes battery, charger, battery monitor. What I'm getting at is that there is a good chance your trailer is not set up for a battery to begin with.

Thanks for the comments. I’ll look into this with one of the European T@B suppliers and look into the 1000 Euro 12v supply package. I’m sure there will be a way to sort out this issue.

I wonder if something like a Bluetti would let him run off battery?
Will your inside lights work while towing?

    Excellent research/comment by @Grumpy_G

Knowing that @Caravaggio rig is in the UK is a major factor
(not many EU folks post on this forum [ Welcome ] ).

The Dometic MK-60 shown in an earlier picture would be the AC voltage to DC Voltage Convertor only, not a Power Center with Battery Charger that is standard in North America rigs.

Based on the pictures and @Grumpy_G research this rig does not have a factory installed Battery and cannot fully operate without 230/50Hz VAC Shore power.

@Caravaggio will have to add a Battery (at least).  What capacity & type of battery is dependent on the rig's
Fridge { Make, Model, year ] and how long @Caravaggio would like to have cold food when not having access to 230VAC Shore power.

This is a doable 'project' but will not be a cheap or totally easy project.
