Different Battery Voltage shown in Victron components?

Hi Folks,

More newbie questions for you:

A few weeks back, I plugged my Cirrus 620 into shore power and changed the Battleborne 270w battery up to the "float" level. I then synced the SOC with the various Victron components in the system so they all showed the same Battery Voltage. The camper has since been parked and changed via the rooftop solar array and a Renogy suitcase array and Victron controller. Now I'm seeing different Battery Voltages reported by the various components—especially the VE. Bus. Can someone kindly explain what might be going on?

My guess would be a voltage drop from the VE.Bus Smart Dongle. Could be wire size or a bad connection somewhere. I had a situation where water got into an inline fuse holder. It resulted in corrosion causing a lower voltage reading. I'd suggest checking all the connections before digging deeper into a cause.

Have same situation for a LiTime self heating 100ah lithium battery with Victron's 100/20 Smart Solar controller, 500ah smart shunt and temp sensor. I have older non-lithium converter and I top off my battery with a Bluetti Charger 1 alternator charger feeding into my solar controller. Everything works great but the numbers never completely line up between voltage and SOC across devices. Checked all connections and are fine. Relatively minor differences so barring something someone mentions on here I might've overlooked I'll just live with it for now.

Thanks for this. The camper is pretty much brand spankin' new—a 2025 bought a couple of months ago. The VE.Bus isn't a dongle, but a hardwired unit. No sign of water or anything like that that. And I'm going to assume that NuCamp installed everything with the correct wiring sizes...

I think my next move (barring more illumination from folks here...) would be to plug the camper back into shore power and get the battery back to float level, then resync the SOC for the setup.
