Discoloration on Plastic Trim 2020 T@B 400

Hi, I couldn't find appropriate category and struck out searching prior discussions. I did reduce size of photo, I hope it's enough. At several locations along the arched white trim is yellow-tan blotching. Are we alone? Is it a problem? Can it be cosmetically improved. Thank you!

I can't answer your questions, but that's weird. It looks like peeling paint, but I always thought the trim was color-molded throughout. Always something new here on the forum...

No de-lamination. Surface seems fine. Was waxing spring and fall, now just spring. All Pro covered from mid-October through early April. Wonder if there is a chemical interaction with cover and/or wax? Will cast the net broadly to see if it's a thing.

I guess the same sun that keeps our old AGM batteries always above 80% State of Charge may be complicit. Had we been in 85% no sun upstate New York, it would have been mold!
    The AI opinion:

White plastic RV trim can develop yellow-beige discoloration due to various factors, including exposure to sunlight (UV radiation), heat, oxidation, and even some environmental pollutants

Here are several methods to address and remove the yellowing:

    1. Cleaning and restoration

    • Hydrogen Peroxide: Hydrogen peroxide, especially in a cream form (like hair developer), is highly effective at reversing yellowing caused by UV damage and bromine in the plastic.
      • Apply a thick layer of 12% hydrogen peroxide cream (often available at beauty supply stores) to the discolored plastic using a brush.....
