Ground Clearance

Hi! I’m looking at a 2018 320s which is not a Boondock. While I’ve so far always been in state parks and such I still wonder about the clearance. Am I overthinking this? It appears to be in good condition and I’d like an inspection, if checks out it’s a good deal. But I do think about the clearance thing. Thanks.

I have the same model. I've never had a problem in state parks or on gravel roads--even those with modest potholes. Just drive slowly and deliberately. T@Bs--Boondock or otherwise--are not really designed for true off-roading.
I'm not sure about the 2018s, but my 2015 came with the spare tire mounted underneath the back. Not only was it awkward to access, IIRC it could potentially drag a bit when navigating sharp dips (paved or not). An early mod for many owners was to relocate the spare to the tongue.

Thanks ScottG. Yeah the spare on this one has been put on the tongue already. That rear spot is low!
