Table “shortening”

Reading the thread which shows different ways T@B owners have shortened their dining area tables - or replaced them - we were wondering if anyone has just taken X” off the back of the table and reattached the wall mount? If so, any advice and pictures?

    Could you specify which table?  The Lagun table top and mount?

    If the Lagun table top is the curved one then yes.

    Thanks, Sharon.  That was the thread I had previously read that got us wondering if anyone took off a few inches on the back of the table and reattached the wall mount to make the table shorter.  (No one had mentioned doing anything like that.)
