Norcold N4101 Fridge not working on A/C power - error code 18 - any ideas?

The fridge on my new to me 2022 TAB 400 won't start on A/C power. When turning on it gives error code 18 (see photo).  It starts cooling just fine when I switch to battery (haven't tried propane yet).  The compartment behind the fridge was super dusty but I couldn't find any loose wires or anything, and the plug has power (I couldn't test the voltage) (2nd photo after some cleaning). I'm kind of at a loss, hoping someone has experienced this before and has some advice! Thanks, Mark
About the only thing I could find via google is, "Norcold N4000 often shows error code 18 and struggles to switch between power sources smoothly. Error  indicates a sensor or control board fault, often triggered by power source switching.

@HighPlainsDrifter - - I am not familiar with the N4101 model, but do a Google search using the same phrase I entered below.  It looks like there is additional troubleshooting info available online.  But, as I have often found, it is amazing how often the simple advice provided below (i.e., to disconnect all power to electrical/electronic devices for 10-15 minutes) can make things right, so give that a try.  Good luck!

Google Search: "Norcold N4101 error code 18":

AI RESPONSE:  Norcold N4101 error code 18 indicates a problem with the refrigerator's sensor or control board, often due to a power supply issue or a faulty thermistor. Start by performing a hard reset by unplugging all power sources to the fridge for 10 minutes. If the error persists, inspect the wiring for loose or corroded connections and check the thermistor. If these steps don't resolve the issue, you may need to test or replace the control board or sensor.

Thanks for the reply - I did try that and unfortunately it didn't help. A related question I'm curious about if anyone see this and knows...is there supposed to be a plastic cover on the control board? It seems like there would normally be, but I can't find any photos of what it normally should look like!
