I have a crack in my top trim panel on my 2020 Tab 400 (pictures attached). I'd like to remove the panel in order to patch it all up properly using backing. I have searched these forums and consulted ChatGPT and haven't cracked the code on how to remove these things. I don't see any screws on any of the panels (other than the wheel well) and don't see any kind of tape. I can slightly lift up the rails after I remove the weather strip, but as far as I can tell they are simply nestled into the backside of the keder rail. They seem brittle so I don't want to use any force until I know exactly how these things come off. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Have a look at this video. There are a couple of versions of this trim, so not exactly sure if yours attaches to the trailer in the same way as what this video shows.
Also, this video may be of interest. It describes securing the trim on a 2021 T@B 320 S, but he points out some clips that are intended to hold the trim in place:
Unless someone else on the Forum chimes in with additional helpful info, your best bet would be to contact nuCamp's "Customer Experience" department for specific info on how to remove/replace the trim. If you contact them by E-mail, you should include your photos and the trailer's VIN and build date so they can look at the build info for your particular model.
This is exactly what I needed, thank you @pthomas745 and @Bayliss. I just didn't want to start pulling and completely break the trim. That link you provided @Bayliss was super helpful as they mention removing the keder (which makes a ton of sense now). I'm going to give removing the keder a go and will report back. Otherwise I'll just contact NuCamp, but you both have given me some great info. Thank you!
Just a follow up for any 2020 Tab 400 owners. You 100% have to remove the screws in the keder rail. That is what is holding the trim in place (at least the outer side trim). See pic for where the screws where in the keder, they went through the keder into the plastic of the trim.
