Overhead LED in Tab400

Has anyone taken the Overhead LED down on the Tab400? I'm seeing some black in-between some of the LEDs. I suspect by thier spacing it could be corrosion. The problem is I can't determin how the fixture is mounted. Do the chrome knobs unscrew or is it just snaped into the celing somehow?

    Issue solved, I figured it out. The chrome caps come off by slipping a exacto blade between them and the clear plastic. Then there are 4 screws holding it to the ceiling.

    Once I cleaned the frosted plastic face plate you could clearly see that the black spots are just micro resistors for the LEDs.
