Changing Tires

Got an e-kail from Ed Kaufman in re tire changing and he said "..we recommend that you don't use the stabilizer jacks for wheel or brake work"
Also for CHANGING A TIRE he said  " loosen the lug nuts ,after all are loose put a jack underneath there trailer as close to the axle as you can then raise the trailer" This seems to go against what one of the manuals says but this is from Ed today.

Sandra I now realize this. However a manual in the files section says just the opposite

John, I would take Ed's note as an "update" and I would follow his most recent update. He also seems to be saying to put the jack under the frame, as close to the axle as possible, not under the axle, which is what Pleasant Valley has told us in the past.

Either use a jack close to the axle and on the frame or call AAA.
