Haven 220 awning manuals

Our Haven did not come with any documentation for the carefree awning; and nucamp has been unresponsive to my requests for such (uncharacteristic for them). Also, the dealer said there was not a wind sensor to auto retract the awning (spoiler: there is). So after some research I was able to find the model and manuals and get the thing working as it should.

Our dealer and nucamp said the awning for the Haven was not auto retract/wind sensor. So, how did you determine the awning had such capability?

I had a problem with the awning retracting all of the way, which led me to inspecting it. I found the motion sensor inside the right corner on the rear end. it clearly says "Carefree BT Motion Sensor" on it. from there, i just researched. works like a champ now, you can even set it to automatically shut the light off 20 seconds after retracting.

Also, If your awning is beeping every 30 seconds, it is telling you it has lost wireless connection to the motion sensor. Mine was simply that the battery was dead.

My 2025 14K camper came with a large spiral bound manual with everything in it. Windows, door, awning, stove, air, converter, etc. You name it, it's in there, right down to draining the tanks. Nice full color printing. One of the beefs I've always had with NuCamp was that their documentation was always just an incomplete afterthought of papers tossed in a drawer.

Thank you. Our Haven is in storage but as soon as we bring her home to prep for our trip to the August rally, I'm going to inspect our awning. Appreciate you attaching the manuals.

So, I was curious so I reached out to nucamp and got a reply today. "I don't believe we advertise the awning as having the Bluetooth wind sensor, but at least some of them do." They provided a picture of the sensor, it's on the trailing edge, under the awning and would be visible. Def going to check our awning when we bring it home in a few weeks.

I totally agree….plus I wonder if there is a price difference? My guess is they may have ordered from the company and got a mix delivery. Keeping our fingers crossed we got one with a sensor.
