Shattered Front Window 2014 T@b 320 CSS

Somewhere between Livingston MT and Spokane WA the curved front window of my 2014 T@b 320 encountered a flying object, shattered and the edges crumbled away. Picked up 3 rolls of Gorilla Super Clear Waterproof tape and covered the inside and outside with tape. I stopped at a dealer in Portland, but was informed that replacing that window is going to be a challenge, since NuCamp uses a different window now. NuCamp was closed last week, so they couldn’t call for information on a source. Even if they could find an after market window that was the same size, it might not work, and getting the work done is iffy before I head home to Georgia in August I’m thinking of waiting until I get back home to get the new window, but concerned I’ll lose the window completely en route. I need advice.

  1. What is the best way to find a replacement window and someone to install it either in Oregon or when I return Georgia?
  2. What additional temporary fix or replacement could I use to get me back across the country?

Correct, the window design was changed but it's not hard to replace with the newer style.. Replace with new window

@Grumpy_G, thank you for responding to my questions. I’ve reviewed the solution by @Maxcamp. His description of the process is quite detailed. However, t my 2014 window design is quite different from the 2021 design, and apparently also a different size. My window does not sit completely flush with the metal exterior, does not have trim and appears to be glued to the molding or gasket, which is offset from the edge of the glass. Given the 5 week delay in shipping that Maxcamp experienced, and the dealer anticipated, I’m thinking I need to wait til I get back to Georgia to have the window replaced. Suggestions for keeping the window opening covering while driving 2600 miles will be much appreciated.

    Corrugated plastic and Gorilla tape.
