Rear Tire Rack

I'm looking at mounting the spare tire on the back of my 2019 320S.

Any suggestions for mounting it?

    @ChuckieG Do you have the "rails" and the "rack?"

    My 2017 has a "Yakima Rack" attached to the rails. There is a "tire carrier" that holds my spare to the rack.

    This is the "Yakima" version of the spare tire carrier. A pretty simple device, there are many others just like it at Amazon, etc.

    edit to add over 60K miles with no damage and no leaks …..
    (… and we carry additional gear on the rack)

    Not something I would do especially by putting more holes in the roof and attaching that much weight to. If you have the Yakima roof rack from the factory you can get a mount but I wouldn't add a rack. The ones with the back brush guard won't hold that weight either.
