Shorter Lagun table arm

I've always felt the Lagun arm was a bit too long for the T@B trailer. It just didn't leave much room for occupants at the table when you swiveled it around. I noticed that Lagun now offers a short arm (12" instead of the stock 16") but it costs $76 plus shipping. If I bought one I'd have a long one sitting around that I didn't need so I decided to make a short one myself.

I bought a 28mm drill bit (<$10 on Amazon) to drill the hole for the bushing but I had all the other stuff I needed. I cut 4" off of the existing arm, drilled the bushing hole on a drill press, cut the relief slot with a jig saw and drilled a 3/8" hole for the squeeze bolt. I used the bushing, squeeze bolt, handle and end cap from the old arm. I'd already built a table that included a sliding option. I'm pretty happy with the new setup. I think it's an improvement over the stock one. An additional benefit is it will reduce the torque on the bushings, arm, and mount as I go down the road.
