RV antifreeze that's been in the pipes over 10 months

For us, this season has been the "summer without camping," which means the RV antifreeze we ran into the pipes last fall, has been there since. This is only our 3rd year owning our camper so my question is, should we, before winter hits again in a couple months, put fresh RV antifreeze in the lines?

I'm presuming the stuff could stay in there for YEARS if it came to that, but if there's something in the stuff that could:

• Allow bacteria to flourish, contaminating the lines and tanks
• Eventually cause problems with the pex lines, fittings, etc

Then I'd much rather, when we bring the camper to the house in a couple weeks to give it a cleaning inside and out before putting back in storage, flush the lines, run a sanitizing bleach / water solution into the lines, and then put another batch of fresh antifreeze in the lines / traps / toilet.

Our camper is stored in an outdoor lot, so it's been baking in the sun all summer. Come next spring when we start getting ready for our first trip, we'll run a sanitizing solution through the lines after flushing out the anti-freeze (we do that every year, anyways) and possibly go all the way to a sterilizing bleach / water solution into the fresh tank.

This thread has a discussion. If it makes you feel better to play with the trailer and have it out a bit, by all means, take it home and drain it, etc. Make things work, like the Alde on propane, etc. Get things going. Make the fridge work. Check the solar and the battery. Make your day with the trailer more than just the plumbing.

Does RV Antifreeze Prevent Bacterial growth

You could use the blow out method of winterizing and skip worrying about the RV Antifreeze at all.
