Having solar panel installed by "Solar Mike" at Slab City next Friday -- then to Quartzsite to test the system!  YAY!

I thought that Slab City was closed down. I think I saw that when watching or reading "Into the Wild."

Yes it is just outside of Niland, CA -- it is not closed down -- I heard the same information but it is still there.  I just heard from people who visited there 2 weeks ago.  "The Sun Works" in Slab City does a good job installing solar on RV's.  I believe you can actually Google Sun City and directions pop up.

Joe wasn't firm on the dates in late December 2015 but did just send me this this morning:

The web site will be updated this week. It will be July 12-16. We will have online reg. soon.
