I have a 2016 U-MAX. No bathroom. This was a hard decision for us. I have only used the trailer a few times but so far we are happy with our choice. We like the extra room and not having to mess with the dumping and smell. It all comes down to personal choice and what type of camping you will be doing.
I am into my 3rd year and would not trade the bathroom for anything. I am not old (maybe not young, but not old, either) nor infirm but I enjoy always having access to a clean bathroom. I love being able to enjoy secure, private showering when boondocking or overnight parking at Walmart. If you only camp at places that have nice bathrooms, then maybe you don't need a bathroom, but I wouldn't do without it.
