Is that a pushbutton switch on the usb outset?..I want to shut mine off too and this looks very viable.MuttonChops said:Dudlee said:. . . installed the switch in the charger outlet faceplate.
Very nice & clean.
Wish I had thought of that.
Mine is not so . . . .

I added this switch and it has done very well cutting back battery usage.

And my take on this one with also an additional cigarette lighter socket while working in that void area there for a simple battery monitor

@TABNewbies and @tomtek Looking at lots of mods as we wrap up our first 2 week long road trip.
Was this pretty easy to do? I would really like to turn the Jensen off, but we are not wiring experts. 2022 Tab 400 Boondock

This looks great. I was going to add a switch, but we never use the Jensen or TV, so I just pulled the fuse. I'll eventually add a simple rocker switch.2023 T@B 320

I installed my rocker switch in the cubby at the head of the bed.

My T@B was lit up at night as almost nothing was completely off. I ran everything to this switch panel I added next to the Jensen in my '21 320. Now nothing glows at night. (L to R): Outside USB ports (I added), Inside USB ports, Jensen Stereo, TV, Blu-Ray/DVD player. I replaced the round ceiling and bathroom lights that glowed even when off with these dimmable exact replacements that are off when switched off: https://amzn.to/3XWh7HG

I have the '24 T@B 400. The Jensen control panel has a perimeter bezel that I assume needs to be pried off to be able to remove the control unit to access wiring. The bezel edges are tight to the wall paneling and it doesn't budge a bit with fingernail pressure. I can't even get fingernails started under the edges. How are people safely removing it without marring the wall? Does the unit actually need to be removed from behind in the wall cavity? That would be quite a project to gain access.Susan & Bill, Yarmouth, Maine

Are you trying to save parasitic battery drain or do you just want the lights on the stereo to go off? If it's the latter you can just read the manual to learn how to turn the light off.Bill&Suze said:I have the '24 T@B 400. To prevent parasitic drain, which I confirmed by watching the VictronConnect app while the Jensen panel was powered, and then after pulling its fuse. There's an observable drop in battery amp output when power to the Jensen panel is cut.Marceline said:
