Warmer interior light ideas?

So far, my one complaint with my new Tab is the horrible lighting.  Those LEDs are so cold and too bright!  A dimmer would've been nice. So we're thinking of adding some plug-in lights of some sort to the interior, like maybe some low-powered rope lights that could be placed on the shelf over the bed. If anyone has already tackled this issue, I'd love to hear what you did to add softer, warmer lighting to the interior. Photos would be even better!

Yep - They were way too bright for me and the wrong color so - way back when - I made little colored disc inserts that changed both. Since LEDs don't heat up, it diesn't melt the discs. I'll see if I can find that thread.
Others have installed dimmers but my way is cheap, easy, quick :-)

I remember this thread and I thought this was a great inexpensive fix for the problem.  Very impressed.

I also have some little battery powered lights mounted on the ends of the valances, under the air conditioner and over the sink.

Good you found it.  I was searching....but couldn't find it.

Brilliant!  And I always try to search the forum first to see if my question has already been answered, but I didn't see that thread so thanks for sharing.
