Don't forget to occasionally check your tow bars where they attach to your TV's frame.  Allegedly class 3 hitch with measured tongue weight under 220#...



Bumpy roads, potholes, etc. can damage more than the camper frame.

We bought a Sherline scale and its ease of use justifies the price for us.

I too use a bath scale. I still travel “ultra lite”(backpacker dies hard...) the only new addition is an ice maker, and that travels in the TV.

We dont have an ice maker, but we have 2 of those instant pots, the smaller of which she wants to bring along... 
45 years ago, all we needed was a tent and two sleeping bags..

@TerryV6, 45 years ago I was 5'6", 105 lbs, young with long hair below my knees. Things change, oh boy do they change. Either we adapt or we don't survive. Besides, you know the adage "if mommy not happy........" so Terry, adapt and survive!

I too once carried everything I would need for days or weeks in my backpack...now...having hot water, etc...how decadent!
