Update and Farewell

in Introductions
I could not figure out how to edit my Post under "For Sale" but I need to let all interested parties know that the T@b was sold today and is therefore no longer available. I want to thank the members of this forum for all of the good advice and comradarie that I have found since participating here, and there always will be a soft spot in my heart for the T@b camper and the great people who own them. I am right now re-assessing whether or not RV travel is really for me, and if so, what type of (larger) RV I need to buy. But for now I am signing off from the T@b forum and wish all of you only the best in your future endeavors and travels.

    Or, you could do as I do… still have our T@B, don't know whether or not we'll sell it, but haven't used it in a while. We now have a short Sprinter-based RV, but I still love coming to this forum, helping where I can, and always get a good chuckle every time I visit the forum; a truly great group of folks here!

    Thanks for all the great comments. I still plan to visit here on occasion as I continue my own exploration of RV'ing. Right now I am planning on looking at the Vista by Gulfstream, which comes in at about 3,000 pounds empty, so it is beyond the capacity of my Subaru Outback (but well within the capacity of the Durango I am thinking about). It is still a small RV, but has enough room for a separate bed and table area. I met someone on the road with one who stopped at gas station to talk to me since she had recently sold her T@b, apparently for the same reasons that I sold mine. She said the Vista seemed of high quality, even if not at the level of the T@b. I think that unless I go the top-of-the-line route with something like an Airstream I will not find the T@b-like quality.

    Vito, I suggest you look at Lance campers if you are thinking of larger units.  There is a dealer in Zion Il along the lake.  Model 1575 would be similar.  They seem to be very high quality.  Best of luck.
