Maiden Voyage

We finally took our very successful first trip to Calaveras Big Trees in the Central Sierra Nevada.   It has been quite a journey.   Backpacking,  tent camping, two tent trailers and now a T&B Max S.    For the most part it was a great shakedown cruise.  Our Subaru towed quite well, even with the  steep climb into the mountains.  Set up was much easier than our prior trailers.   But,   we quickly learned to watch the battery usage on a 3 day trip without hookups.   We were surprised the refrigerator and water heater used much less propane than expected.
The table has to go.  I see a Lagun table in our future.  We must have received one the last unit with the old table and we found it much easier to just leave the bed set up.
So, up to Lake Tahoe in a couple of weeks and more to follow.

Glad it went well - And yes you do need to watch the battery levels. I predict there is solar in your future :-)

 Hope to see some picts! I agree about that table. I tried to pawn it off on my sister, but she's giving it back to me. Down into the basement it goes.

Goodwill loves them!  I figure if new T@Bs have Lagun tables, there's no sense in keeping the monster.

I use mine in my garage. Bed slats make all the difference in the world! I'm glad you had fun in a beautiful spot! :)

Yep, old style table into the garage.  I found a great lightweight table on Amazon. Perfect size for us, collapsible and three different height settings.  We can use it inside or outside, leans folded against the door at night, sort of a burglary alarm, should anyone tamper.
