Using T@B during borderline weather

We love camping during borderline seasons where during the day, the temperature is slightly above freezing but it could dip to below freezing during the night. This is typical during fall color seasons around here. Given this, can I use this trailer safely with water in all tanks as usual? We will probably get a site with electricity so heating won't be a problem but I am a bit worried about the exposed tanks and water lines freezing over night. The temperature will typically come back to above freezing during the day.

There isn't a definitive answer - It depends on how low it gets and for how long. I've camped where the low was 27 but it wasn't long enough to freeze anything up. If it was 27 all night I probably wouldn't do it.

What year and model T@B do you have?  If it has an internal fresh water tank it should be OK if kept heated and if the freezing temp is short term, though personally I would just winterize and not use the water systems.

And then there's that - internal vs external. But either way your dump tanks and valves coud freeze/crack unless you dump some rv antifreeze in them.

Are there different models with external vs internal fresh water tanks?

Yes - For instance, a 2014 Max-S had a smaller internal tank. 2015s got the larger external.

Later 2015s got the larger external; early (like mine; a 2015 model built in 2014) still had the 5-gal internal. I'm glad, 'cause that allows me to camp in freezing weather with water in the tank. I camped in teens temps, but I did have enough antifreeze in the waste tanks to fill the drain valves and used the waste tanks minimally. I propped the door to the bathroom and to the water pump open to allow warmer air to reach those areas.

Buy water tank heater or blanket. Camping World and Amazon sell them. What a project! Please share some pictures.
