After cracking the screen on my outdoor television, I finally figured out how to remove it to replace the TV. No need to remove screws from the back of the cabinet. It's very simple actually and no toodl required. There is a spring which holds the TV to a bracket. Grab the bottom of the TV, pull it slightly towards you. Then push up on the bottom of the TV rather hard. When you've raised the TV about an inch, pull the bottom towards you. The TV should easily pop out at this point. Unplug all the connections and you're done! To install, simply reverse the process.
PS–Learn from my mistake—don't place anything on the shelf in from of the TV and then close the clamshell. In my case, it was a small fan. Sigh... $200 lesson.
