12V Fridge Question

Our T@B hasn't been delivered yet, so maybe someone here knows the answer to this question.  What is the brand of the 12V fridge in the CS model, and is it compressor driven?  How well does it work?

I have the 2016 M@X CS-S and believe it would be the same if you have the CS.

I think it is (norcold) - compressor mentioned spec:

Does it work well is subjective; I personally found it small and uses a lot of power on battery so I elect to use a top loading Engel fridge when not on shore power.

Your new T@B should have a 3-Way Norcold Refrigerator.  The link above is for a 2-Way (AC/DC) Norcold.  Propane refrigerators do not have a compressor.  Check out the Wiki article about RV refrigerators and how they work.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RV_Fridge

@RVABuff, sorry, but the CS model is the Clamshell model which does have a two-way fridge because there is not enough room for the exhaust from the propane function. 

I'll let someone else hop in here to discuss whether it has the compressor function.

@Verna Thanks for clarifying that for me.  I just assumed all of the T@B models have a 3-way like mine.  I learn something new every day!

The 12v and 2 way fridges are compressor refrigerators.  They are small - 1.8 cubic feet IIRC.  Ours works great.  It will freeze things if set too low.  It is an older model than the current CS so maybe not the best comparison.
