2004 T@b floor

sorry I asked this in the Mod section but may be better here.

i am wondering what the construction of the floor  is? Is it plywood sandwiched with fibreglass? I seem to have a soft spot. I am wondering if the previous owners may have had it repaired or covered up. Looks like there is some fibreglass cloth covering the spot but not done properly.
