I want to add a 12 volt accessory at back of a T@B Max S with power tied to the running lights being on.
I thought a couple quick splice connectors would do the job connecting power line red(+) to T@B white wire and black ground(-) to T@B green wire.
However, that didn't register any power with the running lights on.
Should this have worked or should I try something different?
Thanks.

Yes, behind the bench.
First picture shows how the license plate light is spliced into two wires (green & white).
Second picture shows right taillight area where I tried to add the quick splice connectors on the same green and white wires as they route down to what I assume is the running light. I'm guessing the brown to red wire is for brake/blinker light.
Turns out the green wire is positive(+) and white is negative(-).
