I've added a 12V outlet and used the IKEA shelf covered with the same fabric that my other shelves/upholstery have to make a mini shelf for a pretty charging station. When I bought my T@B, I ordered a few yards of the fabric just in case I wanted to make something and it was unavailable.

I tacked the fabric to the bottom and folded it over to make a nice edge.
Then I looped it over the front, around the wooden bar, and sewed it shut.
