hi ya'll....we placed an order a few weeks back for a 2017 Outback T@B S....we should have her home mid to late January according to our dealer!
We went to look at the Tag and ended up with the T@b.
choosing the color was one of the hardest...so here is what we did. We took a picture (probably from someone here on the sight) and asks our son who is a graphic artist to change the color trim for all the possible colors. Grey base and white base. It was a perfect way to do it!!! (let me know if anyone wants to borrow
Drummmmm......Rolllll....we ended up with silver and blue :-)
Looking forward to being part of the T@b family and already love this forum. And I am sure will be coming back with basic questions.

Hmmm.....I think I need to check on this shipping thing. I was charged for shipping and my T@b is coming in with a dealer order. Mine was suppose to come off the line 12/17. I placed the order 10/20 so yours should be right in that group too I would think. As for when it will ship, I don't know if the holiday shutdown will affect that or not. It's not big deal for me if it doesn't come in until January. I'm reading every day. So much to learn!

Since you special ordered yours (and wanted delivery in just the next normal delivery not a rush special), you could always ask your dealer for a discount on the delivery or maybe on supplies, etc. It's also possible that your "base price" was lower than Homebodyatheart's because their dealer incorporates delivery in the final price ("Here, have this discount I give everyone!". Oh... I'm so jaded).
That being said, my dealer incorporated all delivery, prep, detailing, etc and gave me one final price without everything being itemised. But I was happy with the price and happy knowing I wasn't going to get a sudden influx of fees at pickup (hopefully!).

The only items that shouldn't be factored in are tax, title, or other government mandated fees. These vary from state to state and do not reflect any additional profit on the part of the dealer.
