I have a question about the visors (either regular or XL). I noticed a review from one person saying that the door on the Tab S Max won't open fully, but only perpendicular when the visor is installed. Is that correct? I like to have it open completely.

I have a question about the visors (either regular or XL). I noticed a review from one person saying that the door on the Tab S Max won't open fully, but only perpendicular when the visor is installed. Is that correct? I like to have it open completely.
The visor follows the contour of the roof (examples below) via the Keder rail along the edge and since the visor is installed along this contour, when you open the door it will break this contour plain and therefore not allow for the door to be swung around to meet the side wall of the trailer. Instead the top edge of the door does hit the visor along that plane and when you open it further it will push up along the right side of the visor.
I was worried about that too but then read about solutions for this. OutbackAZ and PXL posted their modifications for the problem.
It's never been an issue for me personally and I use a bungy cord to keep the door secure and off to the side via the pull handle on the corner of the trailer. Works for me!

I tried to buy one last night but their website would not let me enter my email and new password as a new user. It's gone this morning. :-(
I feel your pain! I missed out on the tent that they had posted in the outlet a few months ago. Since then, I've been checking the site fairly regularly and saw the visors last night. So keep checking and hopefully some more will become available before too long.

I received the visor a few days ago and the weather finally improved this weekend so I could put it on the camper. Way cool addition and it was easy to install. Now I'm just impatiently waiting for things to dry out and warm up a bit so I can go play! Jiminey, I love this little camper! (I couldn't get a good photo of the side because the camper is close to an outbuilding.)
I managed to get it worked out. We will have a visor to go with our Dr@gonfly when she comes home! Thanks Reedd for the heads up!
I'm glad that you got this worked out Homebodyatheart and it sounds like you will have everything ready for the 'delivery'! Wonder if we should have camper showers like they have for babies? I love the Dr@gonfly name! I almost went with D@mselfly but Gus the cat convinced me otherwise.
Love my XL Visor - Hasn't been deployed for six months though - If wind comes up, suseptable to rod breakage - So far have broken two. At the hint of wind, take it down. In my case, wind came up in the middle of the night :-(
Reedd that looks wonderful! Gus seems to approve, too. I don't think mine has shipped yet, but I've got time. What did you name your T@b?
I named it T@bby C@t after Gus and his sister, Lilypond. Gussie has some serious attitude and he would a good camping companion. Lily, not so much. But I'm not going to try it with either one of them. . Which visor did you get?

PXL, I saw the thread where you posted photos of the vertical webbing straps that you added to your visor. Did this help at all? Did the breakage occur with the added straps?
Hmmmm, you got me curious about the pole so I called Pahaque and spoke with Jason. He said that a new pole would cost $49 plus shipping but that you rarely need the complete rod. Said that most of the time there will only be a section or two that splits and to call them and they'll send out the section and you can restring it. I didn't ask how much that would be. Around here, the winds will increase in nothing flat so it sounds like I need to take the visor down while out and about and also add some duct tape to the toolbox for when I forget.

reedd - Have had a break both before and after my tiedown alteration. In the later case it was really gusty winds. If it's a little breezy/gusty, I loosen the straps and let it flex and move a little. With no wind or a breeze I keep it tightened down.
