    Did I mention I camped on New Year's Eve!  We were going to an event that night in Fredericksburg, Virginia, so we stayed one night in the KOA down there:


    It was a nice campground, with one of the nicest bathhouses I have found anywhere.  We headed down to Williamsburg the next day to catch the last weekend of Busch Gardens, once again staying at the Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center:



    Because of the short stays, just one night in each location,and the weather was very nice, we did a very minimal amount of setup.

    With lots of time Saturday, we took the long way home, which afforded us some nice stops as well, like at this winery on the Northern Neck:

    PXL - Low 40's with daytime highs of 75.  Make sure you first walk the narrow trails before heading in off the main dirt road - not too many places to turn the rig around.  The 3 or 4 camp sites along the dirt road get a lot of dust from vehicles driving by.  I recommend against them.  The 5 or 6 sites off the main road are much nicer with lots of space between each one.  Good idea to GoogleEarth the area prior to heading out.

    Not too much to look at here.  Back to Williamsburg this past weekend for Busch Gardens opening.  We put the awning up for some extra rain protection overnight, which was good as it rained all night long.

    First 2016 trip to Ainsworth State Park, Oregon. Fire (we built)  and rain and rain and rain. Beautiful and peaceful.

    Desoto State Park in Alabama. Third trip (including pickup and shakedown)  and we are getting a routine. Setup and breakdown is still taking awhile--but, worth it!

    We LOVE DeSoto. Usually spend a March weekend there, but it didn't happen this year.
