What are they made of? Tried to hang something and could not get a screw in.

@roger, I did a quick search with " hanging " -upper right column, and found this post, but I believe it depends on the what, weight and where you want to hang something, and perhaps the year/month your T@B was made. Several discussions about hanging things.

Drilling into walls - I would never put a screw into the side walls unless I knew for certain it would contact an aluminum frame member.  Google Images for "Little Guy Factory Tour" to see some interior shots of the interior construction.  Most people use Command Strips to hang things.  Even then be careful because the adhesive can pull the veneer away from the foam underneath.  OK to drill into any visible wood (i.e. the valances).

Haven't tried this myself, but would use command hooks  if we wanted something on the walls.

All you have in the walls is a thin inner hardboard layer (1/8" or so) and then foam. Not good for screwing into unless as OutbackAZ mentions you know where the aluminum studs are located.
Command strips have worked really well for me and haven't had any delamination but I don't hang anything really heavy on them unless they're attached to wood items.

You are probably hitting an aluminum stud .

PXL, I'm tellin' 'ya, Dalehelman becomes "one" with his T@B while sitting in that lawn chair with his cup-o-coffee! That's why I affectionately call him the "T@B Guru"! Pretty sure he could run his hand over the wall & tell 'ya where every wire, stud, and plumbing line is at this point. ;)
